In a recent project, we worked with a pharmaceutical company offering products that enable medical providers to administer the right medication dosage to patients. For this project, the customer required a customized one-piece carton for their PALS Syringe Holder Kit. These kits are used in medical and emergency room settings to indicate how much dosage a patient should receive based on their size. They also include a measuring tape that emergency room staff can use to measure patients and determine the proper dosage based on height, which is outlined on the side of the package.
The Challenge: Design and Create the PALS Syringe Holder Kit
The customer came to us needing help with designing and creating a PALS Syringe Holder Kit. This was a brand-new product for them and the marketplace in general. This kit contains a kit box inside of a master box. The inner box is a one-piece design with multiple easily accessible compartments for both the tape measure and various meds. The master box holds four of these kits.

Throughout the course of this project, one of our main goals was to create a packaging design that was the most efficient for product use. The enhanced efficiency of this packaging resulted in improved response times for emergency situations. Rather than medical professionals having to measure patients with an external device, we were able to design a PALS Syringe Holder Kit capable of holding everything an ER would need to make a dosage decision. The PALS Syringe Holder Kit makes it intuitive and simple to confirm the right dose, thus helping millions of healthcare professionals offer better care to patients.
